After a long and drawn out process with the landowner, Aldi have now purchased the land at the side and rear of the Wetherby Whaler in Guiseley; where they secured planning consent in 2012 (before purchase) following a Public Consultation in 2011 .
Attached is a newsletter Aldi have sent out to 1,800 local residents and businesses, inviting people to a Drop In meeting on Tuesday 23rd June 2015, 3 – 7pm at Guiseley Football and Cricket Club, Nethermoor Park.
The Drop In will discuss new Aldi’s ideas for this brownfield site, as they intend to submit new planning proposals to amend the previous consent.
