CROMPTON PARKINSON, THE COMPANY WHO KNEW PEOPLE WERE AT ITS HEART

cromptonsTuesday 17th February

7pm

Guiseley Theatre

Local film maker David Myers, worked at Crompton Parkinson;founded just before WWI by Business Entrepreneurs and Social Philanthropists ‘local lads’ Frank and Albert Parkinson.

Cromps, was part of the community and the social side played a key role in local life. Many a tear was shed as the factory fell in 2006. David has now put together a moving film of work and play at Cromptons, as well as how Parkinson’s Park has been regenerated by local people.

There is no charge for this event, just come along and honour the past of our Aireborough and take part in exploring how together we can make it a thriving place
