All around us green belt has been earmarked by Leeds City Council for development. But, do we have enough green space of the right type for a growing population? What is needed for future wellbeing?
Green infrastructure specialist Karen Horwood, and Friends of Yeadon Banks Chair Christine Schofield will explain why it is important that we conduct our own accurate survey, and what local volunteers can do to help.
This will be an ideal opportunity for you to help map and save Aireborough’s green spaces, snickleways, ginnels and footpaths, get to know your local area better or explore an area new to you.
