The Aireborough Neighbourhood Development Forum are asking people to help raise money for placemaking and Neighbourhood Plan activities in 2019.   In 2018, Localgiving’s Grow Your Tenner match funding campaign.  helped us develop a Guiseley Gap Walk leaflet (out very soon), run our Aireborough Place Space and Exhibition during the Summer and helped pay for an Acadamy of Urbanism Masterplan.  There is much to do along similar themes in 2019 including paying for design expertise for sites that may get approval in the Leeds SAP.

Grow Your Tenner 2018 will start tomorrow on 11th December 2018 at 10am and will run until the match funding runs out (or 10th January 2019 – whichever comes first).

People can donate by setting up a monthly donation during the match funding period of up to £10 per month. After the first six monthly donations have been made, the following six monthly donations will be doubled, by a maximum of £10 per donation. This means a gift of £10 a month for a year, plus gift aid, would provide us with over £200 in funding.  (That is £120 in donations from you,  £60 in match funding and £20 in gift aid.)

The Forum have taken part in Grow Your Tenner for several years now and have raised over £4,500 towards evidence based reports on Landscape Value, Urban Character, Housing Needs and Ecology as well as community engagement events – all of which are available on our website here.

To set up a monthly donation please visit the Forum’s Localgiving Page here after 10am on 11th December:
