THE FASCINATING TALE OF AIREBOROUGH’S CHARACTER – 24th May, Leeds Library

Andy Graham of The Urban Glow, is doing a talk on the story of Aireborough’s Urban Character at Leeds Library on 24th May, 12.30 – 1.30pm.  Bookings can be made here.

Andy  is an Urban Designer and Heritage Professional . He works with such organisations as York Minster, as well communities in and around Leeds. One of his most recent projects was working with the Aireborough Neighbourhood Development Forum to help residents and those involved in the future planning of this richly historic area, understand the place.  Copy of the report is here.

In this talk he will visually explain the interesting story of the evolution and development of the places around the towns of Guiseley and Yeadon. The intention is to show how this historic development can help us plan and develop for the future. In what promises to be a very visual and engaging presentation you are invited to comment and assist shape this vision of one of West Yorkshire’s most distinctive areas.
