We need your help to raise funds to take Aireborough’s Neighbourhood Plan another step nearer completion. At our recent AGM  it was decided that Aireborough needed a Neighbourhood Plan more than ever .

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS?

We have already raised funds to undertake 3 major projects details of the work so far can be found here

Now we need to fund a final major task….A thoughtful and sympathetic URBAN DESIGN for Aireborough

AIREBOROUGH’S URBAN DESIGN PROJECT

New sports and community art facilities?  Micro-business hubs for small businesses?  Better parking? Revitalisation of the area around Old Dog Mill and making Guiseley Gyratory more pedestrian friendly?   The Neighbourhood Plan  wants to commission  work to look at a better urban design for Aireborough, which has grown too piecemeal and is currently a hotch potch.   The work will be done by knowledgeable and experienced designers who know the individuality of the area well.

But, we need £10,000 to do it.

So, the ANDF is again taking part in Grow Your Tenner, an annual match funding campaign run by Localgiving.

After a difficult year proving to planning authorities the need to do this work in Aireborough, this funding opportunity has come at exactly the right time.   We therefore encourage everyone in the local area to get involved in whatever way you can – be it as a regular or one off donor through Localgiving, helping on the project itself, or even helping us to fundraise.

During this campaign Localgiving will match all online donations of up to £10 and monthly direct debit donatons up to £10 a month for 3 months.

Grow Your Tenner 2016 will run from 10am on Tuesday 18th October until 5pm on Thursday 17th November, or until the money runs out.  ONLY donations made in this time will be eligible for match funding!
