The ANDF held its third AGM on Wednesday 21st September 2016. Forum members heard a summary of the activity during 2015/2016; the main features being covered in the attached report here.
To reflect the revised Forum structure some elements of the constitution were revised and approved. This enables a smaller, more knowledgeable, steering committee, to make recommendations to the active Neighbourhood Planning Team who help produce the evidence and evolve the Plan. It also allows affiliates who do not want to be members to work with the Forum. The new constitution is here.
In line with the new structure several members of the Management Board stood down to join the Neighbourhood Planning Team, and two new members joined the Steering Committee. We are still looking for a Fundraiser to join the group. The new Steering Committee is here.
Finally, the AGM looked at the current confused planning landscape, from changes to planning at the national level down to potential difficulties with the Leeds Core Strategy, and the Bradford Core Strategy. They also looked at the current programme plan for the Aireborough Neighbourhood Plan. After a discussion it was decided that Aireborough needed a Neighbourhood Plan, now more than ever, and it was decided to continue with the current work; the next stages of the Programme were approved together with potential funding.
Minutes from the AGM will be published in due course.
