Leeds Bradford International Airport has been significant in the lives of Aireborough people for over 80 years; now it’s the largest employer. Local aviation expert, and author Ken Cothliff tells the story from its inception in 1931, through war and peace to its influence in the 21st Century.
Tony Hallwood, Development Director, Leeds Bradford Airport will explain the plans to expand as an airport of the Leeds City Region and the Northern Powerhouse. There will also be a discussion on the thorny subject of improving transport links.
Come along to either or both of these interesting presentations; there is no charge we want people to come and take part in exploring and designing a thriving place!
