A Neighbourhood Plan has to be in general conformity with the core planning strategy of the local authority. Leeds City Council have recently put out a revised core strategy for public consultation and comment, with the deadline of the 18th February 2013. There are a number of documents to review and members of the public can access them in the following ways.
- Web – www.leeds.gov.uk/ldf and follow the Core Strategy links under the related pages tab.
- Visiting the Development Enquiry Centre at The Leonardo Building, 2 Rossington St, Leeds, LS2 8HD (Monday to Friday 08:30- 17:00, except Wednesdays 09:30- 17:00)
- At Libraries (including the three community mobile services) and One Stop Centres across Leeds.
- Requesting a copy to be sent out to you by post or by Email by phoning Leeds (0113) 247 8092 or email ldf@leeds.gov.uk
The Aireborough Neighbourhood Forum are currently reviewing the Core Strategy in order to make a response, if you would like to include comments on the strategy with our response, or generally discuss it then please let us know on aireboroughnp@gmail.com. If there are enough people who would like to get together to discuss the Core Strategy in a meeting, then we can arrange that.
