We opened the Aireborough Place Space (ANDF’s residents information room) in the old Parish Rooms,Towngate, Guiseley over the summer months and have seen a good number of people cross over the threshold (from Government Ministers, to the Lord Mayor, to planners, and young people who knew nothing of what was happening locally but were interested in helping more) in order to discuss development in Aireborough. Today was the last day, and we will be closing for the winter months – hopefully opening again next spring. Our thanks to St Oswald’s PC for letting us use the Parish Rooms.
As we move into the next phase of the saga of development in Guiseley, both the Leeds Plan and the Neighbourhood Plan, we’ve decided to have a BIG CATCH UP for Forum members on
- progress of the Neighbourhood Plan
- the situation with Leeds Site Allocations for housing, employment, retail, and green space
- the South Pennines Regional Park
- the plans for Silverdale Allotments
- the plans for Esholt
- and any questions you may have
This will be held at ‘The Place Space’ , the Old Parish Room, Towngate, Guiseley (opposite St. Oswald’s Church) from 7.30 on Tuesday 27th November. Please contact Organizational Secretary, Liz Kirkpatrick on aireboroughnp@gmail.com to let her know if you will be coming,
