Three houses – World’s End Yeadon

Permission is being sought to build three family houses with gardens and garages at a brownfield site,  World’s End, Cemetery Road, Yeadon  (15/03940/FU) .   The public are now being asked to comment.  Attention needs to be paid to the access to the Tarn and also the design and layout of the houses – are they in keeping with the conservation area, and what, if anything,  is needed to improve that?

Good design needs to be in line with the area,  the site,  and the individual properties.   Design standards can be found in Building for Live 12, published by Design Council CABE.  This may be a useful document to look at for those wanting to make comments on this proposed development.
