The Guiseley Gap walk leaflet is proving extremely popular – we have stocked many local libraries (thanks to a grant from Guiseley Lions) and have had to do repeated renewals of stock almost weekly.
We are now getting a reprint done, thanks to a grant from Guiseley and Rawdon ward Councillors Graham Latty and Paul Wadsworth, but now is also the time to enable people to download a copy if they wish.
The download will fit on A4 sized paper, but you will need to print it in landscape, the detailed page (not the map) will need folding in two. Thanks to Gecko printing in Yeadon for supplying the download.
Two groups who have enjoyed the walk in early summer are ‘Rambling On’ a Menston walking groups, and the Tales Told Festival. Below are some pictures taken by Will Shaw of Rambling On of their walk in May. The pictures show the varied landscape of the Guiseley Gap – the only area of the South Pennines in the Leeds area.
